Lungta--What we carry

Some things are simply worn. Others stay with us.

We are drawn to objects that gather meaning through time — through where they come from, how they are made, and the lives they become part of.

LUNGTA brings together natural materials, craftsmanship and tradition to create pieces made not just to be seen, but to be carried.

From one place, into another. From one story, into yours.

Lungta — རླུང་རྟ་ — means “wind horse” in Tibetan.

The wind horse is an enduring Tibetan symbol associated with vitality, well-being and good fortune. It is traditionally found at the heart of prayer flags — the familiar pieces of coloured cloth strung across mountain passes, rooftops and sacred places.

As the flags move with the wind, the prayers and mantras printed upon them are understood to spread outward, carrying blessings and good wishes into the world.

Five Colours. Five Elements.

The five colours of Lungta are traditionally connected to the natural world — Sky, Air, Fire, Water and Earth — together reflecting a sense of balance between the elements.

At LUNGTA, they become the foundation of our collections, translated through natural stones, colour, texture and material. Each carries an intention of its own — possibility, clarity, courage, renewal and grounding — inviting you to choose the energy you want to carry and make it personal.

Materials & Craft

Materials & Craft

Stone, pearl, wood, silver and fibre — materials chosen for their character and natural variation.

We preserve the marks that make them individual: the grain of wood, the cloud within a stone, the irregular surface of a pearl, the traces left by hand.
